This beautiful Ludwig kit is a 2009 Limited Edition 100th Anniversary special.

Its ultra-thin 6-ply shells are a maple and birch blend, which is designed for balanced warmth and attack, and features fast-sized toms. The outer and inner of the shells are birch, and the core is maple.

8", 10", and 12" rack toms, 16" floor tom, 14" snare, and a 22" x 20" bass drum, with vintage bronze hardware on the shells and an high-gloss finish in Mahogany Burst (MF).

The original heads are still in place.

Bass drum produces thunderous, deep, sub-frequencies with each hit.

Crisp and incisive snare drum with a woody warmth to it.

Bright and warm toms that hold their own against the bass and snare.

This is a second-hand kit that has been in storage for several years. The outer finish and shells are in extremely good condition; however, the inside screws do show signs of rust. This does not have an effect on the sound of each drum in any way at all.

At some point, the rim of the bass drum has sustained a slight bit of damage (as seen in the last photo), but has since been professionally repaired.
